I have a lifelong interest in photography and I have a particular interest in documentary photography.
I have worked for the past 15 years as a staff photographer with the DMG Media Ireland providing photographs mainly for the Irish Daily Mail and the Mail on Sunday publications. Prior to working with the Mail newspapers, I worked with various news agencies (including Reuters, Getty Images, Photocall Ireland) for five years. My experience over the past twenty years has predominantly revolved around news reporting and features. I have travelled the globe working as a photojournalist. Some of the more notable events I covered include former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern’s St Patrick’s Day visit to the White House; the Indian Ocean Tsunami of 2004; the Icelandic Financial Crisis; the Michaela McAreavey murder trial in Mauritius; wildfires in Attica, Greece 2018.
I have had the privilege of travelling widely to cover international news stories as part of my work as a photographer. My particular strengths are my ability to focus on the core priority of any photographic task. I pride myself on being able to deal with the presenting challenges and still be effective and efficient in providing the necessary photographic images.
Whether you’re looking to build out a corporate campaign, want to focus on raising awareness for your small (but growing) business, or you’re just keen to work on developing your own personal brand with some striking headshots, I have the experience across the board. Regardless of the project at hand, my approach is both professional and fun.
